To place your order, you can either call us at 619.729.1722 or e-mail the details to .

Payment

For consigned and practice wear, we accept only 100% payment in advance prior to shipping the item. We accept Visa, MasterCard and PayPal.

For custom made dresses, we accept either 100% payment in advance or 75% down and the remaining 25% due upon completion.

The 75/25 option can only be used if your dress is ordered more than 30 days prior to delivery. Please note that credit card companies and PayPal often charge fees per transaction that will be added to the price of the dress or gown.

Custom Design

We are happy to design custom items inspired by photos that our customers submit. However, out of respect to other designers, we cannot copy an item exactly as it appears in a photograph. When we design for our customers in this manner, we will deliver an item of clothing in the same spirit as the one provided in the photo but cannot deliver an exact copy.

We are happy to help customize your dress. For example, the top of one dress with the bottom of another. Please be aware, that by altering a dress to your own preferences, you understand that the dress that you are ordering is not one that is listed on our site and a pattern will have to be made.

Measurements and Fabric Selection

Due to the nature of our formal wear, Ballroom Dress For Less is an exchange only company. Please take your measurements very carefully in order to avoid problems with the fit. We suggest that you print out the measuring guidelines page from our site, and take it to a tailor, seamstress, dry cleaner, or someone that is familiar with using a tape measure to assist you in measuring for your gown.Exchanges will only be made if there is a manufacturing defect in the dress or gown.

Color choice, mis-measuring or not liking your style choice, are not the responsibility of Ballroom Dress For Less.

Please take time to go over the color charts and dress style when making your choice. Once a fabric color is chosen and we start processing your order, no style or color changes may be made.

Alterations

In the event that there is a manufacturer's error on measurments, you may choose to do one of two things:

If alterations are needed and can be made locally by a tailor, a receipt from the tailor may be faxed to us and we will, within reason, reimburse you for the cost of those alterations.

If you would prefer, the item can be shipped back to us and we will make the alterations.

If the dress does not fit per the meausrments that were supplied to Ballroom Dress for Less, Ballroom Dress for Less will not be responsible for any costs in alterations of the dress.

Shipping

Standard shipping and handling charges (U.S. domestic 2-3 day) is $35. International and domestic overnight shipping is $45.
